My Go To Favourite Lush Products

Hi Everyone
Sorry I've missing for a while, been keeping busy
with work and had a few much needed days off
after the Christmas chaos of Retail work!
Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas & New Year!

So you'll know i had quite a few Lush products on
my Wish List post i did in November and
was fairly new the using Lush Products.
Well since then i must have been the
the Lush Shop close to 10 times?
Slight obsession you could say...

So today i decided i would do my
Favourite Lush products.
All of these products i have brought at least
twice and would 100% re-purchase these again.

Starting things off with

The Comforter

The Comforter, my only word to describe the smell
Lush 'Berry yourself under a fruity blanket'

I personally love this fragrance, it's heavily berry scented
the bubble bar is used for baths, you crumble the bar under
a running bath tap. I personally use a quarter of this
bar per bath so last me 4 baths. It's quite a large bar
compare to some of the other bubble bars lush do.
A Bubble Bar makes your bath super bubbly and
this bar makes your bath a purple/pink colour.

Now if your bath isn't fruity enough,
i then use The Comforter Shower Cream.
You don't need a lot of this to clean yourself with,
i personally put a small amount of it
on to a bath scrunchy and it foams up quite a lot.
Again extreme berry scent that last ages on the skin.

i would 100% recommend these products to
anyone that loves a blackcurrant berry smell
just bare in mind it's quite strong and not to
everyone's liking but i'm sure you can
find a scent you like from the massive
Lush range.

Next is
 Rub Rub Rub
I have very dry skin on my arms and legs, which i
found out many people suffer with goosebump like textured dry skin  like me also know as 'Keratosis Pilaris' which is when dead skin
does not properly fall off, follicles can get clogged, forming Keratosis Pilaris, often arm bumps that feel like sandpaper.
I have had this for many years and although it
dose not really bother me i hate how
my skin feels.

This is the ONLY product

along with 'LUSH King of Skin body butter'  that helps!
Before i get in the bath/shower i scrub it on dry skin on
the parts of my body that are worst i then rinse off
and wash with shower gel as normal. The redness is reduced
and dry flakiness completely gone.

Lush describe it as 'An exfoliating shower scrub that can also be used to wash, volumise and add shine to hair. Packed with mineral-rich sea salt, Rub Rub Rub can be used as a gentle scrub on wet skin, or on dry skin for a really good buff before you get in the shower. Sea salt, a natural antiseptic as well as exfoliant, is combined with lots of lemon juice to leave your skin feeling rejuvenated and it also adds shine and volume to hair.'

Perfect description from Lush, It's a bloody miracle in a tub, and if you suffer with dry flaky skin i would highly recommend

this product!

Now to review it's perfect match
King of Skin Body Butter

My go to body Moisturiser!
This beauty last ages, smells fab and is so unique!
I've never used anything like it, feels like a bar of soap but
once applied to warm skin it melts in to
an oil and gives your skin a massive
moisture boost! Now this is meant for use before a shower
then you wash it off and its stays super hydrated
but i like to use it after a bath or when I've used Rub Rub Rub.
i do sometimes use it before a shower but i prefer been
nice and moisturised after a bath/shower.

Lush says 'If your skin needs some nourishment, this yummy-smelling blend of bananas, avocados, oatmilk and butters will come to your rescue. Avocado's nourishing unsaturated oils get to work with banana's natural emollients and oatmilk's antihistamines to give soothed and hydrated skin.'

I have many more Lush products i love and still a load
i need to try, and the Lush Kitchen just keeps on
producing these magical surprises each week!
Whats on your list? Do you have any favourites?

My Favourite Eyelash Company

I have been using this company for around a year now,
i get all my eye lashes for my kit from this company and the
range they have is unbelievable!
So they are an American company but they ship internationally
it's $10.95 (£7.36) to ship to the UK.

So what i normally do is add all the lashes i need to
my basket and say it's $20 dollars worth, i type in
Google '20 dollars in pounds'

And it converts it for you so you know roughly give or
take a few pound how much it will cost you.
So say your basket is $20 and then plus shipping
to the UK $10.95 = £20.80
Now your properly thinking how many pairs can you get for $20?
i recently did an order of 15 pairs of lashes for $20.75!!!
absolute BARGAIN!!!

Also once you make an account with them they give you discount
off each pair it's roughly$0.10/$0.20 knocked off per pack but its better than no discount! and that's every time you buy.

Now lets talk favourites!
These are the lashes i swear by these ones
are really popular with my clients aswell.

These are my favourite, those of you who watch my
Youtube Channel will know i use these in most of my
videos i LOVE them!
Another Favourite, these i use a lot on people
who want more of a dramatic night out makeup look amazing with a smokey eye.

These i personally like myself, and clients that prefer a more
wispie lash effect.

By far the most favourited lash for my Brides/Bridesmaids!
More often than not these are the ones all my Brides wear
a more natural lash, makes natural lashes look slightly fuller
but are wispie at the ends so you can still see the eye
Another Bridal Favourite, for those clients who don't or have never
wore eyelashes before. Just add slight volume to the lashes
and a small amount of length.

Also i would like to say that although these lashes
seem cheap they are reusable up to 4 to 6 times i would say
some of mine have lasted me a lot more depending on the care
you take with them. Shipping normally takes around 7-12 to my address times will obviously differ depending were
you live but i honestly don't have a bad word/faults to say
about this company!
Get adding to your Basket!

My Product Wish List November 2015

Coming up to the Christmas Season they are so many
things on my Wish List/Must Try List!
(please tell me you all have a list of makeup
that you want to get/try? or is it just me HA)
I wanted to share with you what i really want including
Makeup, Brushes, Skincare and Hair Products.
Let me know if you've tried any would love to know
what you think of them!

Okay so my first item on my list is
the Sugarpill Tapered Blending Brush

I REALLYYY NEED this brush but it's sold
out on all the UK sites that sell American Brands!
I have literally watched all of Jamie Genevieve videos on YouTube
and i'm sure this appears in nearly all of her
tutorials! It just looks super fluffy and perrrrrfect for
blending and no girl can have to many
blending brushes!

Next on my list is
and i mean the WHOLE shop!
i am obsessed with their products and when i say obsessed i
mean my whole Christmas list is LUSH products!
i have used
Dark Angels Cleanser
Oatifix Mask
and a Sample of the Feeling Younger Skin Tint
and i love them.
I have been blessed, thankfully off my Mum
to have pretty clear skin, as each year goes buy
i still have tried to avoid spending a ridiculous amount of
money on skincare and then last month
i had a thought that because i don't really look
after my skin now god knows what it will be
like when i'm older!
So Lush was my next stop and i choose Lush
because all there products are all natural, made with
such fresh ingredients, 100% vegetarian and Lush does not
buy from companies that carry out,
fund or commission any animal testing. They test
their products on human volunteers.
I love the unique, quirky stickers they have on their
posts which has the expiry date and the actual creator of the product, and a digital photo of them such a personal touch!
Their black pots are also recyclable, you can take
5 empty black pots back for a free face mask.
They also do a ton of work for different charities!
I honestly can't find a bad word to
say about this brand, amazing customer service,
most gorgeous products and perfect skin and hair
what more could you ask for?

Now for some Makeup...
The Zoeva Smokey Palette!

Now I've had my eye on this beauty for a while
and a few of their beautiful inexpensive brushes too!
Zoeva is a Germany based brand and their direct
website does ship to the UK for a flat shipping
rate of  £7.50 and takes 2-5 working days
or sell there products too and
offer free delivary on £15 or more spent on their website.
They sell quite a few different palettes but this
one is right up my street! The colours
are defiantly what i would go for especially the
burnt red shadow! Super excited
to get my hands on one of these and some brushes!
I will do a review once i finally order them!

Next has to be
Illamasqua Radiance Veil Primer

I was given a sample of this primer to try, and ever
since I've fallen in love with it and wanted a bigger jar
of it! The only thing i will say is that the glitter in it is
quite heavy and is a tad drying so
to make sure you do moisturize before applying
the primer and you'll be fine.
It's got a champagne coloured glow to it,i also fine although
its a radiance primer it gives you a nice glow
but not a sweaty look. some radiance primers can
be too radiant but this one i fine gives me
a nice glow with out been super shinny!

And last but not least
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows

Makeup Geek is an American brand there eyeshadows
are just something different! The pigment is
unbelievable! They have over 60 colours to
choose from, they are $6 (£3.97) for an eye shadow pan, I've
just put mine into a Z Palette, they are magnetic. you have to
take at look at their website!
They do ship internationally and to be honest when i ordered
3 shadows from them they came quite quickly
and i think shipping to the UK was under £10 defiantly worth it!
i really want to expand my Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Collection, they also have foiled shadows and Duochrome shadows
which i am dying to try! The Duochrome one are two tone and the foiled ones are super metallic and pigmented almost like
a pressed pigment.
Can't wait to get my hands on some more!

Favourite Foundations

1. Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation 6.5

I am in total love with this foundation!
I can't choose whether this or NARS Sheer Glow is my favourite!

Illamasqua say's " This lightweight, easily blendable foundation is suitable for
most skin types and smooths, softens and conditions thanks to skin
boosting Vitamin C and E. Tested in HD environments, this foundation also
provides the ultimate skin realism effect and with 26 shades to choose
from, finding your perfect match has never been so easy. "

The one thing i adore about this foundation is that it's slightly
more creamier than most foundations its quite a unique formula,
it almost feels gel like. I love the coverage it gives i'd personally say
it's more on the fuller end of a medium coverage but lightweight on the skin.
I love a dewy looking foundation with me having slightly drier skin,
and this is perfect! Anyone that has slightly drier skin or for someone
than wants a more dewy looking foundation without looking sweaty,
(Even oilier skin types can wear this if they prefer that dewy look
just make sure you wear an oil free moisturizer and primer and to matte it
out slightly set with a powder)
lightweight but a tad more
coverage than medium this is defiantly the one for you!
I do also like the style of the bottle to squeeze out as much
as you like on to the back of the hand. I don't have a bad word
to say about this foundation.

2. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation Pubjab
£31 or £34 with pump

Again i can not choose between this and Skin Base both equally
my favourite foundations EVER!

Mr NARS says "A glowing natural, radiant foundation with
sheer and buildable coverage that immaculately evens skin tone.
Replete with skincare benefits and the NARS Complexion Brightening Formula,
it leaves skin hydrated, more luminous, softer and smoother. Used daily,
Sheer Glow improves the skin's brightness and texture."

So Sheer Glow is more my everyday Foundation, with me working for
NARS i do wear this everyday for work and Illamasqua on my
days of to mix it up a bit. Okay so some people are really
put off because of the name 'SHEER GLOW' thinking its
a super sheer coverage and really glowy, it's not the case a tall.
Even though the description online states 'sheer, radiant, natural' i don't think that
is a true reflection of the foundation formula so i'm going to give my
opinion as i work with this on a daily basis.
I feel its defiantly classed as a medium coverage i tell customers it will
properly give you enough coverage that your happy with.
i think it has a creamy consistency and  pretty much on most skin types apart from
oily all over, set's to a semi matte finish with a SHEER GLOW, not a super
glowy finish nor a super matte just in between.
most people are shocked at how matte it goes on although depending on
your skin type it will more than likely get slightly glowier throughout the day.
But there is ways to control that, oil free skincare, oil free primers and set with powder. (Depending again on skin type)

3. MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation NC20

After using MAC foundations for a few years and in
my freelance kit i found that other brands have better
foundations and feel in love with NARS and Illamasqua,
although this little star has always stayed in my
personal makeup bag!

MAC say's " A creamy, luxurious, gel based foundation that provides medium buildable to high coverage with a natural satin finish. Hydrating, instantly revitalizes the skin while keeping it looking smooth, soft and plush. Long wearing, water resistant."

When i first tried this foundation i hated it,
i think it was more the brush i was using to apply it
didn't do much for it. after experimenting with different
brushes i decided applying it with my fingers roughly
then using a damp beauty sponge, (Real Techniques to be precise)
worked wonders! i don't were this as my every day
foundation i like to wear it for shopping days, nights out
or i tend to mix a bit with my Sheer Glow some days
to thicken it. This is defiantly a foundation
to avoid if you have oily skin! I find even on my slightly
drier skin it gets super dewy towards the end
of the day (which i personally like) but i know a lot
of people won't.
Anyone who want's a full coverage, dewy look who has
drier skin this is the one to try!

4. Makeup Forever HD Foundation

This Foundation gives the most flawless finish
in pictures and real life.

MUFE say's" Invisible cover foundation. The MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Complexion products use innovative formulas to create a new generation of makeup which is both invisible on HD cameras and to the naked eye. HD Foundation combines flawless coverage and an extremely natural finish. "

Now i think this foundation had been discontined
because it's so hard to get hold of and online
it's coming up ULTRA HD instead of HD so i'm not a 100%
whats going on! (UPDATE it is discontined and has been
replaced with ULTRA HD)
Anyway i brought the original HD foundation from the PAM
stall at IMATS in London (Which i must do a post on!)
At first i didn't like the consistency i thought it was
super sheer but again i think tools matter with this
foundation! I've tried buffing brushes but i feel
rubbing on to the skin roughly then going over it
with the Real Techniques Beauty Orange Sponge used damp
works perfectly and now i really like
to wear this foundation! A Primer is a must underneath this.
More a meduim coverage and i would say
more semi matte finish but creamy so works on most
skin types, it's also oil free but i don't find
it drying a tall.
I like to wear this on my days off if i'm not
wearing Sheer Glow or Illamasqua and want more of a matter look
compared to what i normally go for then this is the one i reach for!

If anyone has any recommendations for foundations
you think i should try ones you have loved or tried and liked
let me know i'd love to explore some other brands!
